Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

We collect information in the following categories:

• Account information: your name, email address, profile image, authentication provider details, and information needed to maintain secure sessions. If you use password sign-in, the password is stored only in hashed form.
• GitHub information: the GitHub account and repositories you authorize, repository metadata, and activity from selected repositories, including commit and pull-request metadata, titles, descriptions, authorship information, changed filenames, and related URLs.
• Content used for generation: relevant repository context and code changes may be retrieved when needed to understand an activity. Code diffs are processed transiently and are not stored in the Little Posts database. We store generated summaries, work clusters, drafts, and edits you make to those drafts.
• Billing information: subscription status, plan, billing period, Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, and billing email. Payment-card details are collected and processed by Stripe and are not stored by Little Posts.
• Technical information: session identifiers, IP address, browser or device information, application logs, error reports, and security and performance diagnostics.

2. How we use information

We use information to:

• provide, secure, troubleshoot, and improve Little Posts;
• authenticate you and maintain your account;
• connect authorized repositories, interpret GitHub activity, group related work, and generate editable writing drafts;
• administer trials, subscriptions, payments, and account access;
• prevent abuse and comply with legal obligations; and
• communicate with you about the service and support requests.

3. AI processing

Little Posts sends the repository context needed for a generation task—including relevant activity metadata and, when necessary, excerpts of code changes—to AI inference providers. These providers process the information on our behalf to create summaries, classifications, and drafts. We do not sell repository content or use it to advertise to you.

Generated content may be inaccurate. You control whether to edit, use, or publish a draft.

4. When we share information

We share information only as needed to operate the service, including with authentication providers, GitHub, AI inference and observability providers, database and hosting providers, workflow infrastructure, error-monitoring providers, and Stripe. These providers may process data under their own terms and privacy commitments.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect the rights and safety of users or others, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets. We do not sell personal information.

5. Google user data

Google sign-in gives Little Posts basic account information needed to authenticate you, such as your name, email address, and profile image. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

6. Cookies and sessions

Little Posts uses cookies and similar local technologies that are necessary for authentication, session security, and core application functionality. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

7. Retention and deletion

We retain account and product data while your account is active and as reasonably necessary to provide the service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, and meet legal obligations. Disconnecting a repository stops new activity from being collected from that repository, but does not automatically delete information already processed.

You may request access to or deletion of your account information by contacting us. Some information may remain temporarily in backups or be retained where legally required.

8. Security and international processing

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Service providers may process information in countries other than your own, subject to applicable safeguards.

9. Your choices and rights

You can limit GitHub access through the repository controls in Little Posts or your GitHub App settings, manage billing through the Stripe customer portal, and stop using the service. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, or object to certain processing.

10. Children

Little Posts is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
